Les informamos sobre el nuevo sistema de carga avanzada para las exportaciones a Egipto, a implementarse a partir del 1° de octubre de 2021 (fecha de carga en puerto de origen):
New Import regulation in EGYPT (Advanced Cargo Information ACI) will start 1st October 2021 - Departure date from POL
Before booking is placed, the Importer in Egypt must request a registration number called ACID from the Advanced Cargo Information (ACI) System.
Once the import request has been approved by Nafeza (Local Customs Authorities in Egypt), the confirmation will be automatically sent to the Shipper.
The Shipper must provide the ACID Number and Export Registration number while submitting the booking.
PROCESS
o Importer request the ACID number by Nafeza and provide the ACID number to shipper prior the booking.
o When provided by Nafeza mail is automatically sent to shipper and consignee with ACID number.
o Shipper should provide ACID number and export registration number to carrier while submitting the booking.
Mandatory Elements to be manifested:
" ACID Number = a 19 digits Number identifying the ACI shipment (unique number)
" Exporter Registration Number = a 17 alphanumeric number
" Egyptian Importer VAT Number (TAX ID NUM.) = a 9 digits number identifying all companies registered in Egypt
